How Does It Work?
Getting started with AuthorOnline is very simple. Go to our order page, fill in the form and pay the deposit (€300) via PayPal. If you are unable to use PayPal we can supply you with our bank details so you can do a Telegraphic Transfer.
Once we've received the deposit, we will register your domain name and set up your site on one of our servers. We will then ask you to supply information about how you want your site to look. We'll need you to upload a photo of yourself and any other images you want to use. We'll ask you for references to other websites you like, any colour/style preferences you may have and any other information that will help us create the design.
Usually within a week we will send you a concept design and ask you to approve or comment on it. If you don't like it, we'll produce another design. When we've agreed the design, we will ask you to pay the balance (€150) and we'll start building the site. Again, this can take about a week, depending on our workload. At the same time, you will have access to your Control Panel, and can begin uploading content for the site.
Images And Copyright
Many websites rely on visual imagery for their success. We will only use images that you supply, and you must have the right to use the selected images (either because you own the copyright or have bought/licensed images from a photo library).
