We include Google Analytics on every public page of your site. This is a sophisticated (and free) website traffic analysis system. It tells you where your visitors came from, what they looked at, how long they stayed, and tons of other useful information. You will need to have a Google account to be able to see the data.
Ask them. Tell them. Get other websites to link to yours. A good way to do this is to link to other websites on your BlogRoll, and ask the owners of those sites to link to yours. If you have a FaceBook or other social networking page, you should also link to your website from there.
It's a kind of online journal. You can use it to write about what you are doing, your response to things in the news, your solutions to the world's problems - anything you like, really. The word comes from WebLog.
A BlogRoll is a list of links to other sites or blogs.
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication (and never was a concept more inappropriately named). It's basically a file that can be accessed by RSS Readers and other software. People who subscribe to your feed will see your latest information as soon as you publish it. Your site includes two RSS feeds, actually. One is for your news, and one is your blog. The feeds are updated as soon as you add anything in news or whenever you publish a new blog post.
Our package includes a domain name (.com, .org, .net or .info): you can search for an available name as part of our signup process. If you already have a domain name, you can have your registrar point it to our server (and we reduce the package price by €10 per year).
Not at all. If you can operate a word processor, you'll have no trouble keeping your website up-to-date. And if you do have problems, we're here to help.
Good question. There are many ways for you to get a web presence for free. But if you want to stand out from the crowd, a custom-designed website is the best way to do it. Also, there will never be any advertising on your site (unless you specifically want it), and we are not in the business of collecting and selling the private data of our customers.
If your book is listed on Amazon.com or another retail site, it is very easy to include a link to the book's detail page.
Certainly. Anyone with creative products to sell can use our services - maybe you're a musician, an actor. You might even be a politician: we can still make a fantastic website for you.
Sorry, no. Our system relies on special software on our ultra-reliable UK-based servers.
